Few stories are as widely read and as universally cherished by children and adults alike as The Little Prince. Richard Howard's new translation of the beloved classic-published to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's birth-beautifully reflects Saint-Exupéry's unique and gifted style. While reading this book, it is easy to imagine you are flying away from earth, picturing yourself witnessing the clueless little prince on his journey. This is not just a children’s book, but a book of wisdom. A wonderfully simple story, at every turn it gives the message that growing up we lose our sense of freedom, fun, innocence, creativity and imagination.
I read this book when I was growing up. I still remember it was a bright starry night and I was nine that time. When I finished reading the book,I gazed out of my window and dreamt about the little prince in his far away land. Recently I read the book all over again. When I was finished with then book I gazed out at the night sky, marvelling how much the book could change as life changed. I love every line in the book and think evey adult should read it at least once in their life. this book will change the way you tlook at life.
