Register for an INDIAreads account and Activate Library Membership. Browse or search to find books of your interest. Every time you find a book that you would like to read, click on the rent button on the book page. This automatically adds the book to your Bookshelf. Please ensure that you keep 10 books in your bookshelf at any given time. Once you have filled up your bookshelf, click on the Edit bookshelf tab in your My Account page to prioritise them. You can number the books from 1 to 10. The number 1 denotes top priority. After selecting your order of priority, click the submit button. If you are unable to find the book of your choice in our catalogue, press the Request-a-book button or send an email with the book details to findmybook@indiareads.com We will try and procure the title at the earliest and inform you.

Once you have added books to your Bookshelf and we have confirmed that you want to start delivery, we will send you two books from your Bookshelf. Our endeavour is to send your top priority books first, but this may not always be possible. The books will be delivered to your doorstep. First time subscribers or subscribers who have opted for cash on delivery option, need to pay our agent the billed amount on delivery. Please note that our delivery agent will be unable to leave the books with you, unless the full payment is made.

Now that you have the book, sit back, relax and enjoy it. There are no due dates and no late fee. So take your time.

When you have finished reading both the books, log on to your My Account page. You can chose between “Pick up my books and deliver the next set” and “Pick up my books but wait for the next delivery” options. If you chose the former, our delivery agents will pick up the finished set of books from you and will give you a new set. If you chose to wait for the next delivery option, a tab saying “Send me my books now” will appear next to your Bookshelf. Click on it, whenever you are ready for the next delivery.

If you have selected the Self Return option, please put the finished set of books in the addressed envelope that was sent to you along with the books at the time of delivery. Do not forget to indicate in the enclosed card whether you would like immediate delivery for the next set of books. Courier the packet to us. Once we receive your books, depending on your choice of delivery date and your plan, we will send you the next set of books.
